Weekend of Oils

Well, this weekend was full of pain.  It was a Young Living Essential Oils weekend.  We went driving, visiting places of my past.  By the time we got home, I was feeling pain all through my body.  I want to thank YLEO Clove, Lavender, Rosemary, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Lavender and Cypress Oils for bringing my body some relief.  Now, I'll rely on my Peace and Calming to relax.

Lavender and Bruises

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I need to sing the praises of Lavender!  Some of you know that yesterday was YLEO's Lavender Day, and what an oil to pay tribute to.  Not only has it helped me personally to relax and heal burns, but last night when I pinched my hand between my wheelchair and the kitchen table (don't ask me how I did it), I remembered what the book said about Lavender and bruises.  I rubbed some on the top of my hand, and before I knew it pain was gone.  This morning when I got up, I looked at my hand, and where there should have been a huge bruise, there was nothing.

This Saturday is Young Living Lavender Day.  There are many activities that are going to be in the lavender fields.  It is a true celebration.  One of the many that Young Living holds.

My first experience with Young Living was when I purchased a bottle of Lavender.  I, like most everyone, love the scent and often use it to get to sleep.  I also will dab a little behind my ears and on my wrists to smell clean and fresh like a Summer day.

It wasn't until that first bottle of Young Living Essential Oil that I learned that there was a dramatic difference between it and other brands.  Unlike others, Young Living Essential Oils (YLEO) uses 100% Grade A oil.  They do not "cut" it with fragrance, water or synthetic chemicals.

I also learned  about the healing qualities of lavender.  It may help to heal burns, which I found to be true for me.  When I burnt myself with my curling iron, I immediately applied 2 drops of Lavender and gently rubbed it in.  Within seconds the pain was gone, and within 5 minutes, the burn was completely gone.

Young Living Essential Oils Lavender Fields

This is my first day on this blog. I will be sharing with you the uses of Young Living Essential Oils products, as well as my personal experiences.  I hope that you find it informative and enjoyable.  I encourage those that have had their own experiences with Young Living Essential Oils, to share them with the other readers.  I also will try to answer any questions that you may have.
